! IMPORTANT: Tier Changes !

[EDIT: Clarified that the day for the monthly PF2 game is not yet finalized, and that the payment amount is somewhat negotiable.]

Hello, my lovelies!

So, let's cut to the chase: Starting this June, I will be increasing the price of my tiers. You don't have to do anything about this right now, but come June you will need to update your pledges to continue receiving the same benefits.

• The $1 tier (granting access to polls and PDFs) is going up to $3.
• The $3 tier (granting Early Bird updates) is being increased and merged with the $5 tier to also grant access to Alt Ends.
• The $9 tier (granting Goblin Vault access) is going up to $11.
• The $13 tier (granting Bonus Pairing requests) is being increased and merged with the $20 tier to also grant access to flashfic requests.

Other major notes include some changes to the tier names to make them clearer and a new Dizzy Dungeon Delver tier ($169, but negotiable, see below) for playing in a monthly group PF2 game I'll be running.

I'll go over both of these changes in more detail  below.

Tier Increases

First, the 'why'. I have a few reasons for increasing prices, but the really short, basic answer is "inflation".

The long answer is a little more complex. My rent is poised to increase, and insurance isn't being helpful with my medications or my therapy. I'm also going to be heading into some major surgeries over the next year which aren't going to be cheap. Everything's been getting awfully expensive lately, and I could go all-in on commissions again to make up for it, but I really want to focus on the series, one-shots, and Bonus Pairings for a bit, because I'm enjoying them lately and I don't want to get burned out. Most seriously of all, one of our two hens is broody and thus unwilling to lay, so we had to buy eggs last week. Truly catastrophic.

And also, yeah, inflation. Yeah. Number's been going up lately, huh? My income just hasn't been keeping pace.

Second, the 'how'. Well, this one's gonna be a big pain. Basically, I've had to add new tiers manually and unpublish the old ones. The old tiers have been unpublished, but will remain active until June 1st, when I will delete them wholly. At that point, people will need to update their pledges. I will send out ample reminders around that time. You can do it now, too, if you want!

I really appreciate all of you, and I understand if these increases are too high for anyone. This is something I've been putting off for a while.

Oh, and if anyone re-pledges and notices they can't access posts they could before, let me know! I had to fix all the access posts manually.

Dizzy Dungeon Delver Tier

So, this one's exciting! I've been wanting an excuse to run some PF2 here for ages.

The tl;dr:

What It Is: A monthly Pathfinder 2nd Edition game with some potentially risque themes.

Who Can Play: People can get access by either pledging to the Dizzy Dungeon Delver Patreon tier (3 slots available) or by paying a more flexible rate to my Ko-Fi (3-6 slots, depending on how full the Patreon tier is). I reserve the right to gently refund someone if they're disruptive or a bad fit, but hopefully that won't be necessary!

When/Where We'll Play: The current plan is to play on the last Monday, Friday or Saturday of every month starting 5PM Pacific Time and running for at least a few hours. We'll be using Foundry and Discord, though I'm not currently planning to use voice--just a text-based game. If you're interested in playing, let me know which of those days would be best for you!

How It'll Go: The game will be somewhat risque--there will be plenty of fey, monster girls and demons--but I'll be running it to be mainly focused on an ongoing story. This won't be like the ERP tiers with constant sex scenes. Due to the potential for players to cancel or take months off, the party makeup will likely shift a little each month, but hopefully we'll establish a solid recurring roster.

So, for those who don't know, PF2 stands for Pathfinder Second Edition. It's a tabletop game similar to Dungeons and Dragons, though with a greater focus on balance, dynamic tactical combat, and character customization. You can play a tiefling gnome who hurls bombs at people, or a catgirl kobold monster hunter who fights with a pistol and a lantern. It's fun here. Plus, all the rules are free online!

This game will follow a probably revolving cast of adventurers trying to protect a cluster of villages in a mysterious, gothic horror wilderness. There will be a big focus on mystery, relationships, corruption and eerie horror. Think kind of like Ravenloft/Count Strahd, if you're familiar with either of those properties!

There will be two options for payment: The $169 tier, which obviously gives access to all the perks below it as well, or a monthly donation to my Ko-Fi of somewhere between $25-$69. The latter is a Pay-As-You-Can; I don't want to freeze anyone out who can't afford to pay a higher tier, but if you can pay more, please do! You're not just helping me, you're helping make up for the players who can't manage as much!

Oh, also, for every $15 above the base rate you pay, you get a free Hero Point for that session that you can only use by lending to other PCs. I think that sounds fun.

There will be a maximum of six slots--three in the Patreon, and 3-6 on the Ko-Fi, depending on if anyone's pledging to the Patreon tier. In the case of the Ko-Fi, make sure to message me before paying to make sure the game isn't full for that month! It's going to be pretty much first-come, first-served.
