Rest assured, I spent the whole day trying to make excuses to get back to work here. The actual chapter will be up either in a few hours or tomorrow morning, along with an actual proper New Years' announcement-type post!
I'm genuinely sorry about this, because it always feels cheap and tacky to slip a charged post in under midnight when it's not technically done. I always try to treat the final midnight of the month as a pretty proper deadline. In this case, it's better than having one month with three and one with six, which is the alternative.

What did you do!?!? *grabs chest and gasps* 😝 happy new year! On a serious note I think the only time a place holder charge is a negative thing is when the creator posts multiple of them and then continues about their work schedule forgetting about those place holders because it’s already been paid. You don’t do that, the content is just delayed slightly then we get it, then you continue your planned schedule. I don’t mind and would rather support you for the chapters of the month than have a short support month just because the last one was a day late. You might not be close to writing full time but you’re getting closer and your content continues to improve with each post (not that it was ever bad!)
