Bonus Pairing: Bouncy Bounties AltEnd

And the long-delayed holidays present is finally over! Gosh, I really, really liked writing this one. Overall, Limini presented a really fun character to explore, and her interactions with the slime girls—who are known to be dumb, but honestly, aren't that dumb—were a true delight.

Changes to AltEnds Inbound

I've rough drafted the other two AltEnds, and you know what? In total, these three alternate endings (for Honey Trap, Bouncy Bounties and Heavy Fog) are around 10,000 words. They'll probably be close to 11k-12k when they're edited. Writing them all at once has helped me realize how... long they're getting, and I'm a little bit worried, because that's a pretty big workload!

I could aim to shorten them, but I think a lot of people really enjoy the "Bad End" aspect of this Patreon, and hey, I do, too! I'm thinking about new options. I might consider, for instance, charging for them separately—but as a sixth installment in the month, so anyone who doesn't feel it's fair to pay for them can just cap their pledges lower than that.

I'm going to start broadening them, so that BPs don't always have to be the hardest chapter of the month. Starting this month, the "Bad End" will be determined from all five stories, and my lovelies will choose which story they want an alternate ending from.

For instance, if this January I write a Bonus Pairing where a holstaur subdues a pack of lust sprites, a chapter of Intrepid Pawns where Brist escapes a Thriae soldier, a one-shot where a king narrowly escapes a lamia only to fall for a belly dancing genie, a chapter where Senya is rescued from a brainwashing alraune, and a story where Alrek defeats the Brat Baroness, you'd all vote on the alternate ending—and maybe the king would fall to the lamia after all, or the lust sprites would overwhelm the holstaur.

Whichever AltEnd you chose would be written over the next month, and uploaded at the very end of February.

Spoilers: Just a warning, this alt-end devolves into very self-indulgent "dumb bimbo" pampering towards the end. I'm not sure if Limini's ultimate mistake in her bad end is totally clear, but I tried to make it easy to work out what was happening to her. If you're still confused, let's just say that slime girls are... conductive.

I honestly just drowned in this story. Not to TMI, but it pushed all of my buttons even as it encouraged me to try some new techniques. There's a reason it went so long, and a reason it took me so long to write. I hope you all like it as much as I did, because rest assured, the cowgirl will be back.
