This week, for our first of two Halloween episodes of the year, the randomizer goes all the way back to 1980 to cover a made-for-TV movie that has absolutely nothing to do with Halloween and barely even has all that much to do with ghosts. In fact, if anything, the titular ghosts are just interrupting an already way too convoluted story about a rich kid, his evil gold-digging relatives and the newly gender-integrated military academy he attends for some reason. Also there's a zipline competition, an awkward sex ed class scene and the most Italian man in the world. And did I mention the ghosts are Civil War veterans? Cuz the ghosts are Civil War veterans. I know it doesn't seem possible, but the film is even less coherent than I'm making it sound. Join Tony Goldmark, Mat Brunet (aka AniMat!), Kyle A. Carrozza and David Spencer as they strap on proton packs and bust THE GHOSTS OF BUXLEY HALL!

Eh movie would’ve been improved if the portrait was Beatrice from Umineko, then at least it would be a fun (if head splittingly complicated) murder mystery. Meanwhile the Buxley Hall ghost’s heads would probably explode on Rokkenjima considering that series has quite a few characters that are canonically trans and non-binary LOL
