iBots are artificial intelligence systems. They are a little smarter than humans but if you want to make them more advance you level up their programming skill to unlock new systems, attend (rabbit hole) iBot learning school, or visit the virtual space. iBots can go online to a virtual world called "The Virtual Space" where they can hangout, build skills, motives, and more! iBots are water resistant but are not capable of handing too much water. They can get water damaged but iBots are capable of repairing themselves which can take a while but if you are impatient you can have their batteries replaced. The last thing that you should know about iBots are that they are capable of getting viruses which they can also fight off or get removed by professionals.

iBots > How to become a Robot/Hybrid

When creating your sim or visiting CAS you can choose either the Hybrid trait or the iBot trait. The difference between the two is that hybrids still have human needs while iBots do not have human needs.

iBots > How to charge

Visit the virtual space and go to your Virtual Bedroom.
Use a Meditation stool from Spa Day.
Visit the iBot station center which is located at the iBot Center which you can click on your sim to find.
Level up in programming and use "wireless" charging as one of your iBots features.
Have a high level programmer bot use their "battery share" feature.
Let a human with a high level programming skill activate the wireless charging system.
iBots will automatically go charge if you don't charge them which protects NPC iBots.
If all else fails...use a bed.

iBots Menu > Features Menu

This menu allows you to use certain features which can be unlocked by building the programing skill. You can build the programming skill on the computer or by going to study in the Virtual Space.

iBots Menu > iBot Center

The iBot Center allows you services to replace, train, or charge your iBot through a rabbit holes.

iBots can get viruses from being in water, other iBots, or visiting the virtual space.
iBots can get viruses from battery damage which can be caused from being in water.
iBots learning school teaches your iBots a variety of skills.

iBots Menu > The Virtual Space

The Virtual Space" is a place where iBots can go for fun, skills, charging, homework, and more! Going to the virtual space requires the iBot to go online with their system which can drain battery and increase risk of getting a virus. iBots will go to the virtual space on their own.

Virtual Bedroom - This is your home world in the virtual space where you can charge and have a little bit of fun.
Virtual Concert - This is a place where iBots can have fun watching performances and chat with other iBots.
Virtual Daycare - This is a place mostly for toddlers (but children are accepted) to get treated with care and develop skills.
Virtual Study Room - This is a relaxing place where students can go to do their homework. It's pretty boring though.
Virtual Karaoke - This is a place where iBots can go and sing with other iBots. This builds the singing skill and also the fun motive.
Virtual Theater - This is a place where iBots can go and watch a really nice movie. It is quite relaxing and fun.
Virtual RPG World - This is a place where iBots can go on adventures! They will build gaming, fitness, social, and fun motives/skills. It truly is an escape from reality.
Virtual iBot Museum - This is a place where iBots can learn about their history which builds the programming, charisma, and robotics skill. It also builds character values, social motive, and decreases fun motive.
Virtual iBot Hangout - This is a place where all iBots meet and chat with each other. Its a really fun place to build social and fun motives.

iBot Menu > Commands

This menu only shows when a human sim clicks on an iBot. If you want most of the features to be unlocked you will need to increase your programming skill and stand close your iBots before clicking on them...but keep in mind they aren't property of humans so its their choice if they listen or not to your commands.

iBot > Social Interations

iBots have a few social interactions which can be nice, mean, or just really cool features. iBots can detect other iBots which gives them both a boost at skills & performance when they sync.

Drain Energy from.... - This mean interaction drains energy/battery from any sim and gives it to the iBot.
Electrocute ....- This mean interaction shocks the target. If the target is an iBot then a different effect can happen.
Better ....'s Mood - This friendly interaction decreases negative emotions from the target.
Servo hover - This self interaction changes the walk style of the iBot to float like servo.
Servo Rename - This self interaction allows you to change your name.
Servo Program Traits - This self interaction allows you to change your traits.

iBot > Battery Saver Mode

With battery saver mode on the iBot becomes more robot like (animations for teen-elder, university required) which can be a little bit creepy. However, it is hard with low battery to keep its "human like" façade going. No worries though! The iBot will desperately try to visit their virtual bedroom in the virtual space to charge.
