Man.

This image was a fight and a half. I'd done a version a couple of years ago that was supposed to go into a monsterfucker art book that went by the wayside. The project got revived, so I redid it because I really didn't dig the original version I did, but oof. It was hard to revisit it:

I'm glad I did. I'm much happier with this version. I'd go into deets on the story and everything behind this but at its core, it's basically just "green lady poses as trees to confuse travelers and then bang them to make green babies and prolong the species," the end. I could come up with a more elegant way of putting it but that's just way too much effort for this thing.

Hopefully I can give you guys updates on the book soon. The whole COVID-19 situation has made shit kind of dicey since even if it does get printed, shipping will be a bear. But as soon as I know anything, I'll let you know.
