DUNGEON BASE (+STL SET) - AMBIENTAL BASES PT3

Dear Craftworldians,

Welcome to first one (Voted) base series Exercise Tutorials.

Our plan with these series is to have more Patrons experience this tutorial in a quick and fun way, experiencing underpainting for ambience and overlapping layers in a best way. Having fun and quick sessions.

For those who can print minis, we prepared stl file for each base. With this Dungeon Theme Tutorial you will find set of five 30mm bases - Stl's of Dungeon Bases attached, below. But, we would still like seeing other kind of Dungeon Bases (stone, castle, road...etc) painted in this style and technique. Experience the practice, that is best way of learning.

There are three more tutorials (+stl's) upcoming. But we would like to see our students give same amount of energy and practice, experiencing each tutorial for itself.

Stay tuned for more.

Meanwhile, share your works with us on our Patreon Discord Community and on Social Medias by tagging us:

- #overlappinglayers

The bases are from Asgard Rising Miniatures. Their Ks will come next month. Before that, check their Patreon Page: https://www.patreon.com/asgardrising

Thank you for your support,

Enjoy Your Painting with new lesson,

Yours, Aleksandra & Marko

Does anyone know a non-artist equivalent of emerald green?

Kittifizz

Awesome, glad hearing that and looking forward seeing your painting. :)

Craftworld Studio

Awesome! I’m printing now. I did enjoy the tutorial very much.

Hi Ricky. Hope you enjoy tutorial and exercise we prepared for our students. The bases are a gift to our students to practice this lesson. The ones we printed are pre-supported and we haven't had any problems with prints. :)

Craftworld Studio

Thank you very much Sergio. Glad hearing that. Looking forward to see cool bases that you make painted by this and upcoming tutorials :)

Craftworld Studio

I hate to be a bummer but your pre-supported bases aren't going to print 100% properly. The bones are not properly supported. There's islands in most of the bone sculpts that need supports.

Ricky

I really like this short format. Nice and concise. I don't have a 3D printer, but I do have cobblestone texture rollers and plenty of spare bits to create some similar bases. Will be a nice project in the future.
