Welcome to 1st January 2021 - CWSA Patreon

Welcome our dear Patron's, to New Year 2021 (hopefully in a big contrast to previous one) regarding world health and occasions status.

We hope you all have nice time and beautiful day as we have here. It is sunny, warm, promising. ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ™

As you know, we are finally in our new studio. 70% done, but that's enough for a new start.

Two main updates, next to new ambience are 3Dprinter and new web camera.

We will try it out soon (in next few days) on a first live painting tutorial for this month. This will be nice opportunity to talk with you all during the lesson. If we can't meet all at exact time there will be a chance to leave some questions in front. :) We hope for the even better quality of videos with this camera so let's see how it all looks soon.

Also, Phrozen Sonic Mini 4k. This should be nice new adventure. We will share it with you all. We believe many of our Patron's already have a experience with 3D printing, we know some of you guys are printing and painting amazing projects. So if you have a feedback on what we should do/should avoid - first time printing. Let us know in a comments below. Your opinion and insights means much.

For a many new cool adventures within our Patreon community, Cheers to all. โค๏ธ๐ŸŽ‰
Love from your Mrs. & Mr. Craftworld. Aleksandra and Marko

Thank you very much Maria. We will keep attention to all of it. We appreciate it all. :) And we will also have help from Greg. ๐Ÿ™ He and Artisan Guild guys encouraged us to venture to this new journey. ๐Ÿฅฐ

Congratulations on the new Studio! โ€จ As for 3D printing: โ€จOne really important thing is making sure the VAT is clean after every print. ALWAYS check for small residues. Having cured resin in the VAT and starting a new print can damage the screen and also ruin the print. The Mini 4k has a VAT cleaning option. It just turns on all lights and produces a flat piece of cured resin that you can easily peel of the FEP film. This feature is really handy if you have a lot of small cured resin bits stuck on the film (from failed supports for example) because you donโ€™t have to pick them of individually. Another thing that I found helpful with the Mini 4k was sanding the build plate to get better print adhesion. And if you ever get a print stuck on the build plate, pouring some boiling/very hot water over it helps to loosen it and doesn't damage the print. Had the chance to test this on two occasions recently.... ;) Also: Greg aka โ€ž3D Printing Proโ€œ has a great YouTube channel with all sorts of tips. He has a Video about the Sonic Mini 4k where he gives some good tips on leveling this printer.

Thank you. That is a great idea. We will do so :)
