See you guys on a live stream painting session tutorial tonight. Where I will go trough:
- light placements,
- contrast,
- metal surface textures,
- ambience,
- color mixing,
and of course : progress from sketching to refinement.
Before that here is a sketch of how zenithal priming helps as a reference for contrast.
You can see on this picture as well as on parts I have used as a example, to show you initial shadows and lights already visible on the piece, since it is primed in black and white but also since it have its volumes on place as it is a sculpture with a real texture, depth and details. I will talk about this more during tonight's lesson, but though on sharing it early and have you all give more thoughts to this reference. :)
