Tonal Variations - Scheme View
Added 2021-09-15 12:45:23 +0000 UTCAs announced yesterday, we were updating welcome messages. Meanwhile I used pick tool to gather some of the tonal values from these two artworks in progress by Marko (Mr. Craftworld).
Since with all the tutorials, technique's and lessons, we try to bring you all closer to Color Use, we though you would all appreciate seeing all of these Tones got from Underpainting, Overlapping Layers & Color Mixes.
Notice upper values of Knight (pic left) consisting of Reds and Greens going toward warmer values. (yellow)
While lower part is the same tone going toward colder values. (blue)
Picture right contain scheme (from left to right) showcasing : tonal values of leather, fabrics, metals & beard. Notice how many tones of the ambiance overall reflects in this grey beard.
Notice how all the materials have this blue paint in the mixes, changing consistency and tonality.

Will there be a more detailed tutorial for King Arthur? I would love to practise these color schemes on my own version. :)
