Old Jarl Shield Painting - SbS Tutorial / Wood & Nmm - Underpainting Series

Hello Dear Craftwordians,

Welcome to one more Step by Step Tutorial, that you all have been waiting for! :)

This one wasn't planned at first, but since we got many requests, we found a way to bring this lesson in the best approach possible and to graphicly explain it all. This exercise in combination with videos from Underpainting Series published so far should be very nice practice of technique's we are displaying trough our lessons.

We hope you will enjoy this Tutorial we created as Painting Wood and Nonmetallic in Ambience, Underpainting & Overlapping Layers Exercise and Tonal Values Painting Approach.

This will be a good Exercise featuring our #underpaintingseries.

- Underpainting Serie 1

- Underpainting Serie 2

Take a look at our Light Placement Exercises on Shields also, to understand more about Light Placement.

- Part 1

- Part 2

Learn more about the tonal values and mixing of the paints, as well as thin layers (overlapping layers) use, by practicing these steps.
Share your works with us on Discord Community,
and on Social Medias by using following hashtags:
