Future Videos / Articles

This shift to doing articles + video is forcing me to make things further ahead of time. I can edit a post to make corrections, but you can't really edit a video without causing a lot of problems, so I need more time to go over the scripts and quadruple-check everything. A great example is my most recent video where I said that id Software made Quake 4, when it was actually Raven. Now that mistake will be up there forever and youtube commenters will remind me of it. Forever.

Anyway. Here are some articles / videos I have planned for the future:

Skinner's Box: A discussion of Skinner Box mechanics and why they work. I technically did a short version of this as an aside during my Borderlands write-up back in 2017, but it'll be nice to have a more complete version as a stand-alone article.

Gamer's Aren't Toxic: I really dislike the way people casually talk about how toxic this culture is. There are bad people out there, but there's also lots of good and it's harmful to everyone if we perpetuate this ugly stereotype to the non-gaming public. Obviously this is a VERY touchy subject and I'm trying to make sure I present everything in a friendly way.

The Dumbest Cutscene Ever: This is done already. This was the first video that Issac and I produced. I guess it's a sort of "pilot episode" for the video series. It's a short video and a bit rough around the edges, but I'm not going to throw it out. I'll probably put it up to fill the space if there's an illness / holiday that gets in the way of our regular production schedule.

I made a poll for this post to see what topics people are interested in, but now I see you can't make a sorting-style poll. That's what I'd really like to see, but instead it looks like we're stuck with a "select one" poll. That's pretty useless, but I might as well post it to see what we get.
