One of the NPCs in my first campaign had written a book all about his heroic exploits with his party, which mainly consisted of "I did heroic things along with my magnificent horse Fluffy and also other people were there". He had been a PC in a previous campaign the GM was in and apparebtly the player had a terrible dice curse except when it came to, of all things, Dancing and Charisma rolls. (Worth mentioning that the character was a half-Ogre who believed himself fully human because his mother told him that's what he was, and that his name and title, which he insisted on being addressed by in full at all times, was "Bocephus the Beautiful.") There's precedent, is what I'm saying.
