I love this episode. Itβs one of the episodes thatβs considered a bit tangential, but I think itβs so important for establishing the world our characters live in. We get to see the politicking of Nerv, how it deals with private sector competitors, how the rest of the world is coping with the budgetary demands of fighting the Angels, etc. I also just love the focus on Misato and Ritsuko, as well. Just a great ep.
