Thank you all for the incredible support—I truly wasn’t expecting it! The list of games to explore keeps growing. I’ve evaluated a few titles so far, and here’s a concise update:
Thief: The Dark Project and Thief II: Unfortunately, these are not compatible with RTX Remix. The third game shows some potential but comes with typical Unreal Engine challenges.
Wolfenstein (2009): Initial progress was promising, with fixed-function rendered BSP and static meshes working well. However, issues like the lack of CPU skinning for dynamic meshes, which would require shader pipeline processing, and other object transformation problems made it unfeasible to continue.
Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition: I managed to hook Remix and enable path-tracing, but the vertex data (beyond position) sent to the GPU is compressed, leading me to abandon this project quickly and taking a look at Manhunt instead.
Manhunt: After about 10 hours of analysis, I successfully disabled frustum culling entirely.
