Time To Vote for Movies again !!! July 2021

Hi Josh, loving your Only Fools reactions (my favourite show) and all the others. I have suggestions for future films to see, unsure if you've seen them:- Office Space, So I Married An Axe Murderer and Weird Science. Keep up the great work.

I felt the same. It felt like a woke political hit piece rather than a comedy. Sacha has pretty much admitted it was a democrat party advertisement. In many ways he was a Brit interfering in US elections!! (I can't stand either party for the record - before I get accused of being a Trumper!)

I LOVE Sacha Baron Cohen and Borat but man that second movie was trash. I turned it off halfway through. I look forward to some of the others on this list though.

Brothers Grimsby is good without being great. Some really funny moments and 1 really gross moment ( that Josh has done a mini reaction to on YT I think ) ..I liked the film and I think it’s first time SBC plays a character that is a little bit more real.. still over the top tho. In a funny way.

When I was 15/16 like 20yrs ago all my friends loved that movie. I didn’t at the time and saw it again recently and it was ok but I think heavy over rated…that said of course arts subjective and I respect your opinion.

A Fish Called Wanda is the most criminally underrated by far here, it's literally in LAST place. That's amazing, considering it's one of the best comedies of all time and written by/starring John Cleese and Michael Palin. Clever fast-paced plot and very funny. I can only assume no one has seen it. Anyway, looks like a Sacha Baron Cohen season is incoming.

Anybody else just voted for a film they liked and hasn't got upset by what others have voted for? I love Josh's channel and watch along with him to see what his opinion of that film or programme is. If there's something I've watched before but don't particularly like, it's still great to hear Josh's views on it. There's enough bitching in the world on other sites, can't we just enjoy Josh's reactions and discuss the films without without having a bitch slapping contest?

Just pissed off that there's more than one comment under this poll about 'The Full Monty' implying that it's wrong for a straight man to watch it. I mean, the film had multiple Academy Award nominations and one win, but somehow some people would feel uncomfortable with Josh watching it because it features male strippers. It's pathetic.

I fucking love Josh's reactions because he appreciates a wide spectrum of non-PC humour without being offended. Liking offensive humour, however, isn't the same thing as accepting small-minded comments like yours. For one thing, you lack any kind of punchline. Just because you "apologise in advance" doesn't mean your comments aren't pathetic. The Full Monty is a fucking brilliant movie that touches on very serious social issues like unemployment, men's rights, men's health and the struggles of working class Brits (particularly Northerners) in the 80s and 90s. The fact that you "hope" women are voting for the film and that you think Josh reacting to it is "a bit off" says far more about you than it does about the people who'd like Josh to see the film, which won the BAFTA Award for Best Film in 1997, attracted Academy Award nominations, and led to a stage production that has been on both the West End and Broadway. If you were genuinely taking the piss, that'd be one thing - I think most of us fans of Josh can accept a joke. But the fact you say it's "a bit off" is just sad. In conclusion: please fuck right off with your pathetic comment, which ISN'T actually "only having a laugh".

Each to their own and all that,but sat watching another man watch a film about male strippers (as good a film as it is) just seems abit off to me,getting flashback of when Ricky and Steve forced Karl to watch brokeback mountain 🤣... With Josh being a Sci-Fi buff it's an absolute travesty that Spaceballs has been removed due to a lack of votes! Josh, have you watched Blade Runner (1982)? If not, I would suggest that you do even if it's by yourself before you watch Red Dwarf: Back To Earth ("season 9")
