It happens to many creators, when the pledge was deleted due to different reasons. Some of creators feel confused, disappointed or just wondering why?

The reasons are explained, not always directly though.

Personally, I’m alright with whatever decision the potential patrons make, as long as everything is fair and honest.

Only today, I checked "The Deleted Pledge Amount”. Most often, the reason of the decline was "My financial situation changed" (4 cases deleted)

I understand that, and I totally respect the patron’s decision, just as much as I hope they feel the same towards our art and our hard work.

One of them said in explanation:  "I only became a patron to receive a specific benefit and now I’ve got it".

I hope this person is happy anyways. Like same person explained later:

“I only intended to give Develv & Elveo a specific amount of money and now I have...”.

Thank you. Every $ is counted and valued.

The other person said: “I was overcharged”, again I understand the financial situation and that’s not a big deal.

Lastly, there was only one explanation from last year:

“Develv & Elveo wasn’t as active as I expected"

Considering this, I want to expound. Please, dear people, whenever you expect activity, you can just ask and remind us to be more active, right? This page is not for selling wallpaper artwork, it is just for support of the artists. Like any people we have works to do, we are on our own jobs to support ourselves and our families, and because of the busy schedules we can get distracted and forget. Just kindly ask, you can keep activity by commenting, liking, interacting with the artists, right? It’s just so easy.

We have created Patreon and we still keep it just out of love for the followers, not money. If we needed only money we wouldn’t keep Patreon, we would just focus on commissions. Because one commission could cost 2 to 5 months of dedication to Patreon. Yet, we still value the feedback from patrons over the world, that's why we haven't closed it.

For people who pledge, download stuff and then don’t give in turn anything at all… what can I say to them?

I think... It’s something sort of, like walking in the store, using things, removing the envelope and etc. and then leaving without paying. 

However, I won’t demand anything from them in turn, because as I said I don’t sell my and my sister's artworks on Patreon.

People are free to come or leave that’s their decision, Just… My kind request to respect copyright rules and no public distributing.

It’s like… not everything in this world is about money. Money are not evil, neither they are treasure, I believe they should be a sign of appreciation. Money are energy like water or fire, one must know how to handle them and they will be a blessing, not disaster.

I don’t hide it, sometimes I just did charity to my friends, even secretly from my family (they worry I spend it on people who don’t deserve it lol). Everything is fine, I just gave it to my friends who didn’t even ask for it. Is it just how it supposed to be? I did not bother asking on what they will spend the sum. One boy got money from me and said he bought sweets, and I was like aww. They are friends I know for many years, I trust them. Some people are honest and they deserve help. A human being doesn’t have to be rich to help other human being.

Again, if some of you lack finances and run out of stuff you need (especially in this tough time of pandemic), please, you don’t have to give your own money when you yourself need it. Just don’t, okay?

I know how hard it is to earn it, because I personally work hard and I can understand what it means to “survive”. There were times in my childhood when my family had only 40 cents in the purse, because life in Russia was just that tough. We could only eat oatmeal, and buying fruits or vegetables was too luxurious for us (so we even decided to keep our own garden). I’m thankful to many kind people who helped us during that period, they gave second hand clothes, bought products for meal and etc. and since then in turn we made paintings as a gift for those people, just a gratitude for their sincere support.

Later years after becoming teenager, I live much better and I am thankful to God I can work, I’m healthy, I learn and study by myself. What else can I wish for? I have a heart that only needs friendship, sincerity, kindness, that is the only thing I value.
