Teleporting - whether through time, space, or both - is sure to give the vulnerable gray matter of any human a bumpy ride. It is therefore understandable for a teleported person to experience groggyness after such event, but Lauru can't really afford it. Not when she's being teleported to the middle of the ocean.
It sucks to not be able to swim in a situation like this, though in consolation it wouldn't matter anyway when the shores are nowhere to be found. Thus she sank like a rock to the dark depths of the ocean, holding out hope that someone, anyone, would save her...
