THE VEELA AND HER LION

Chapter 2-  Lucius’s First Strike

He made his way through Diagon Alley, keeping his head down, not wanting to be recognized. He had no interest in being swarmed by people right now and he just wanted to get by peacefully. It was a good thing that he had left Hedwig to take a fly. She was so unique and would certainly catch attention.

His head was still reeling from all that he had learnt today. It was a bit too much to take in. He was lost in his thoughts that he didn’t see anybody walking opposite to him. He crashed into the person in front of him and fell.

He heard the other person groan as they both opened their eyes.

“Potter!?”

Harry resisted the urge to pull out his hair. ‘Why? Why Malfoy of all people?’ He questioned himself in his head.

“Malfoy.” Harry dusted his clothes off.

“What are you doing here?” He asked, his eyes narrowing.

Harry felt his irritation rising.

“And that concerns you how?” Harry questioned; his eyebrow raised.

He saw the boy sputter indignantly. He was waiting for a retort when a hand stopped the Malfoy heir.

Harry looked at the very beautiful woman who stood next to Draco. Blonde hair with a poised and regal face. He was pretty sure that she was the most beautiful woman he had seen in his life, apart from his mother and grandmother. When he looked closely though, he could see that this woman bore more than a few resemblances to his grandmother.

“Draco.” The woman chastised gently, and Harry had to marvel at the fact that somebody could shut the boy up. The woman then turned to Harry, a smile adorning her face.

“I finally got the chance to meet you, Heir Potter.” Harry felt at ease with a woman.

“Pleasure to meet you madam.” He greeted the woman with a slight bow.

“You must be his mother.”

The woman nodded. “Narcissa Malfoy.”

She stepped up and placed a hand on Harry’s cheek taking him by surprise. “Just like your father. Very handsome and a gentleman too.” She cooed softly.

He was sure that whatever Malfoy’s face was showing, he was the same too. He was taken by surprise, and he was gaping at the woman.

“Don’t be surprised, Harry. Me and your father go a long way back. I had the privilege to see you when you were just a baby. You have grown so much.”

“You….my father….” Narcissa chuckled softly. Harry was sure that he looked like a fool right now. “Do you know that you are my cousin twice removed, Harry?” Harry shook his head with a frown, before his eyes widened in realization. He understood why she had some facial features that he had seen in his grandmother.

“Thank you, Mrs. Malfoy.” He was sure that the woman tried to hide a grimace when he called her so. The woman smiled once again. “What are you doing here, Harry?” She asked. “I can call you Harry, right?” Harry smiled as he nodded.

“I had just been to Gringotts, Mrs. Malfoy.” She nodded. “We are here to bring Draco a new wand. He lost his old wand.” She huffed as she shot a look towards her son.

“Would you like to join us?” Before Harry could answer, Malfoy beat him to it.

“Mother? What are you doing?” He hissed furiously, but the woman just shot him a small glare.

“Don’t be like that, Draco.” She chastised.

“I insist, Harry. Join us.” Harry shrugged. He was unable to say no to the woman. She smiled and took his arm in hers. “Come, Draco.” She led the two of them to Ollivanders.

They entered the shop and just like they had experienced before, the old wand maker appeared out of nowhere. “Welcome.” Harry was satisfied that Malfoy jumped out of his skin. He shot a smirk at the blonde who glared back at him.

“Lady Malfoy? It has been far too long since you visited this shop. I hope your wand is working fine?” Narcissa nodded. “Yes, Mr. Ollivander. It has not failed me.” She assured him.

“My son, though, lost his wand.” Ollivander faced Draco Malfoy.

“Draco Malfoy. 10" precisely, Hawthorn wood and with a unicorn hair core. It was a good wand.” He pointed out. “But fear not, Mr. Malfoy. We will find another perfect match for you in this shop.”

He went about and began to open his boxes, taking them off his shelves muttering to himself. He spent a few minutes going over different wands before he finally came up with a wand.

“Try this.” He handed a wand to Malfoy. “Ah 10” Just like your previous wand. Made of the feather of a hippogriff with the same Hawthorn wood.” Harry couldn’t hold back his laughter.

“Fitting.” He whispered.

“What is it?” Mrs. Malfoy questioned curiously as she looked between the two younger boys.

“Draco here,” Harry began pointing towards the boy in question. “Thought it was a good idea to provoke a hippogriff just to show others that he could do what I could do. Buckbeak did a number on him.” He chuckled.

Narcissa glared at her son. “Why do you do these things, Draco?” She questioned exasperatedly. “My son acts like his father, most of the time. Don't stop to think.” She explained to Harry. She turned back to Ollivander.

“Thank you for your services, Mr. Ollivander.” She placed a few galleons on his counter.

“Not at all, my lady.” He bowed.

Harry then decided to see what the older man would say about his older wand. “Mr. Ollivander?”

The aged man’s eyes lit up as Harry spoke.

“Ah…Mr. Potter. How is that wand of yours faring?” He questioned.

“11" long, made of holly, and possessed a phoenix feather core. One of the best wands I have ever made in recent times.”

"It broke, Mr. Ollivander." Harry explained.

“Oh…” He whispered. “I don’t know how it broke, Mr. Ollivander. I was not happy to see that happen. I am sorry, sir.” The older man waved him off.

“No... no... Mr. Potter. Sometimes, we cannot do anything about certain things. It seems that fate didn’t want you with that wand.” He replied. “It is just that for wand makers like me, wands are alive. They have life in them. When wands are broken, we feel as if a person has just died. I felt sad because it was one of my better creations.” Harry nodded.

“Give me a moment, Mr. Potter.” Ollivander rushed back into his shop and seemed to be rummaging in a drawer. He returned after a few minutes with a black box in his hand.

“This wand has been sitting in my wand shop for the past six generations, Mr. Potter. It failed to respond to any of my customers before, until today.” He placed the wand on the counter and opened the box.

Harry got a very good look at the wand. It was very similar to the wand that Dumbledore provided in height. The entire wand was white in color and a few black stripes adorning the bottom of the wand. Harry took the wand and almost immediately, he felt accepting of this wand. It gave the same acceptance that he received from the other wand.

“Excellent. You got yourself another wand, Mr. Potter.” Harry took his eyes off the wand and looked back to Ollivander. “A powerful bond.” He pointed out.

Harry decided to take the wand. He was not feeling like saying no to the wand was acceptable. He nodded and unconsciously willed his ring to appear. It was then that he heard a gasp from Narcissa. He looked towards her, and she was staring at his ring. He noticed Draco paling more than usual as his vision was on the ring as well.

Harry turned back to Ollivander who was regarding him with a small smile. “Thank you, Mr. Ollivander.” He pressed his ring to a parchment that he had produced. He placed the wand inside and turned around.

He began walking to the door and held it open for the elder woman to step out along with her son. “I guess it’s time to get going.” Harry said as he stopped in front of Narcissa.

“I had a good time, Lady Malfoy. Draco.” Harry nodded at the two.

“I will be seeing you soon.” He waved at the two and left, walking away quickly.

He reached a secluded corner and closed his eyes, feeling the magic of his ring. He willed the ring to take him home and Harry felt a weird sensation overtake him and something like a hook being locked in his navel and pulling him away.

—-&&&------

He was thrown onto the ground after a moment and Harry groaned as he fought the urge to vomit.  He stood up shakily, trying to clear the cobwebs in his head. This must be portkey travel, he thought. He stood right in front of huge double gates. At the center of the gate, there was the familiar thestral. Harry placed his ring hand at the center of the gate. The thestral on the ring and the gates glowed and the gates opened.

Harry walked through the gates and continued up the well-maintained path. He was excited. He wanted to know where he was, and he was eager to find anything that attached him to his family. If the ring decided that this place was home, he wanted to know how it was. This place was in a forest, to be precise. He took a deep breath and his eyes shined with excitement. He could smell the ocean. He would explore this place later. For now, he wanted to know where this path led to.

He arrived at the steps of a beautiful manor. He started up the steps and he saw a beautiful fountain which was built into the steps. The water from the fountain was flowing to someplace to the side of the steps and Harry had a feeling that it was for the garden or courtyard or something. He continued up the steps and approached the double doors of the manor.

The doors opened to allow entry into the manor. Harry felt inadequate in front of the grandeur of the place. It was just so big and majestic. A palace, if you will. The interiors were designed fabulously, and he once again felt small in this place. He began exploring the place. He walked ahead and into what appeared to be a sitting room. This place was warmer than the outside.

He continued to investigate the place. He passed the dining room that could literally feed two dozen people. And the bedrooms. Every bedroom was huge to begin with. There were twenty of them. But the three master bedrooms were out of this world. Huge four poster beds with a canopy that gave a beautiful touch to the room. Expensive paintings.

Walk in closets, attached bathrooms to go with them and a perfect view to the back of the Manor.

Now that was exciting for Harry. He was just in time to see the sun setting on the ocean. The beach just looked mind blowing and Harry had to resist the temptation to run out onto the beach.

He decided that he would be taking the Master bedroom on the second story of the manor.

It was the Lord and Lady’s room. Grander than the two other master bedrooms. He peeked into a room near the end of the corridor, and he came across the Library of Potter Manor. He was sure that Hogwarts would be envious of the number of books that people would find in the Potter Manor. He had one last room to check upon and he approached the door. This room was different. There was a strong wave of magic seeping out of the door. He opened the door and stepped inside. A large mahogany desk and a large leather chair sat waiting for me. There was a fireplace in the middle of the room and two other smaller seats and a couch in the room.

Right behind the leather seat, Harry could make out a family tree. He moved closer to observe this map and began reading about the history of his family. He watched the large line of Potters and every child of their and their children and so on until he came across his name. His name seemed to be alive and bright compared to the other names that had become just an inscription on the wall.

He sat down on the leather chair, and he felt himself straightening up. This was the Lord’s study, and this seat was the Lord’s seat. Now, his seat. He retrieved his grandfather’s trunk from his pocket and enlarged it with his hand. He was surprised by how easy magic seemed to be coming to him.

He opened the trunk and retrieved his grandfather's box of cigars and placed it on the desk. He retrieved the holsters and the books and placed them on the table before arranging them neatly.

He retrieved the roll of parchments in the trunk and spread them open. He knew that these were specially written by his grandfather, and he was waiting to know how it would help him.

He went through the first set of parchment and as he read through it, he could see that it was a fitness regimen that he followed. There were several instructions regarding how to tone your body and in turn how it affects your magic. This was not a possibility he had considered.

The fitter the wizard or witch, the better they are at their magic. The more accurate and finesse their spells would be.

“Your grandfather spent hours away writing and making notes on those parchments.” Harry jumped, his hand beginning to glow, signaling the beginning of a spell. He then came across a portrait in between the book racks a few feet away from his seat. The portrait of Dorea Potter.

“I finally got to see you, Grandson.” She smiled at the still surprised boy.

—-&&&----

Harry,

Dad has got tickets for the Quidditch World Cup mate. It’s Ireland vs Bulgaria. It would be bloody amazing. We get to see Viktor Krum. He is the best seeker in the world. Anyway, Dad told me that he would be willing to come over and take you back to the Burrow. I just wrote in advance. Hermione will be joining us too. She will be coming here tomorrow. I will see you soon.

Ron

He placed the letter away as he wiped the sweat off his face. He took up the hammer once more as he began to place blows consistently on the tyre in the room. The basement had become his home for the past many months. Months, because of his grandfather’s time turner. This time turner was a special one. He had no idea how this one was created. It was employed to the training room in particular so once they step out; the time turner stops. It activates with a spell his grandmother had pointed out and since then, Harry had been relentless in the pursuit of his training.

He followed his grandfather’s notes religiously. To the point. He placed the hammer back and stepped out of the room. He trudged towards his bathroom and a cold-water bath later, he stood in front of the mirror in his closet. He was frankly amazed by the person that stared back at him through the mirror.

He had grown. He was standing five feet ten and he had put on some weight. He had toned his body and it showed, his muscular frame, abs showing up. His hair had grown until his shoulders. They were still a mess, but with a bit of prompting and Sleakeazy, he could control its nature too, courtesy of his grandmother.

He was both surprised and extremely happy to have found her portrait. He would speak to her every single day, and she would sit him down and tell him stories of his parents and his grandfather. She would listen to him talk. She trained him in the way of the purebloods, etiquette and knowledge that should be necessary for a person of his status and with Dorea Black as his trainer, he had little chance to mess these things up.

Moreover, Harry was happy that he was somehow in connection with his family. He was connected to his grandmother, a person who truly loved him and as she likes to remind him every single night when he goes to sleep.

Just as he had guessed, The Potter Manor was a treasure trove of knowledge. Especially the notes of his grandfather. The man was a genius. The spells he had worked out and had crafted just took his repertoire to a higher level. Harry felt that this way, he could remain closer to the man. He had his father’s cloak, his mother’s eyes, his grandmother’s portrait and his grandfather in the form of many of his spells and diaries that he had left behind.

But the most precious thing for Harry was the portrait of Dorea. His Grandmother was a confidence booster for him. She did one thing very well in particular. That was to talk to him. Have him talk back with her. She was the one who kept him grounded and sane. In his thirst for knowledge to face the man that murdered his parents, he would have lost himself if not for the woman.

FLASHBACK—--

“Harry!” He was distracted from the book he was reading. His grandmother was watching him with an almost disappointed look. “What are you doing?” Harry frowned in confusion.

“Tell me, son. All this fight for knowledge. All these sacrifices you are making, are these for yourself or for revenge?” She questioned.

“Thirsting for revenge for what that bastard did to us, is understandable. But are you right in losing yourself in revenge? Is all this knowledge necessary for a petty revenge?”

Harry was shocked. “Grandma? How can you say that? He killed my parents, Grandma. My father, mother. He destroyed our family. How is revenge petty for wanting to avenge their deaths?”

She nodded. “I know. I feel for you son. I couldn’t fathom what to think of your life so far. But understand this son. Revenge is acceptable but losing yourself in that is not. What will you live for after you have avenged them, Harry?”

Harry stopped in his train of thoughts at those words. “Your parents didn’t sacrifice their lives for you to take revenge, Harry. They laid down their lives so that you could live. I want you to do that, Harry. Live. Live your life to the fullest. Live your life like every ordinary person out there. Sure, he is still alive, and you won’t rest until he's put down. I expect nothing less from you. In fact, I am proud of the effort you are putting forth so that you could finish off that abomination.”

She said.

“Do this for yourself, Harry. Do this for yourself. We Potters are powerful because we desire so. Not because others expected us to be so. Do you understand?” Harry nodded.

“Thank you, Grandma.”

She smiled lovingly. “I am here for you, Harry. I am always here for you.”

Flashback ends—---

He heard a pop as he dressed and arrived downstairs. Harry almost collided with Dobby, the house elf. Dobby had been a godsend to Harry when he was looking for an elf to take care of the manor. He had tried to call Dobby on a hunch and the hyperactive elf was more than happy to work for the ‘Great Harry Potter sir’.

Dorea had been amused by the antics of the elf. Harry was the second coming of Merlin for the elf, and he worshiped the grounds he walked on. That was fun to witness according to his grandmother.

“Master. Yous be having a letter.” The elf handed over the letter and popped away to do whatever it was he was doing.

Harry opened the letter, and he was pleasantly surprised to see that it was from Draco Malfoy.

Lord Potter,

I hope you are doing fine. I write this letter inviting you to our place for dinner. Mother enjoyed the time you spent with us, and she asked me to write this invitation. She is hoping that you would join us for dinner tonight. It would be our pleasure to invite a man from your station to our humble abode. Please dress casually. This will not be formal.

Heir Draco Malfoy

Heir of the Most Noble House of Malfoy

He had reached his study and he stepped inside with the letter in his hand. He pondered over the letter. He had enjoyed the time he spent with the woman. She was fun and family.

“You seem lost.” Dorea’s portrait spoke. Harry nodded as he sat down in his seat.

“Narcissa Malfoy has invited me to dinner.” He explained.

Harry had no qualms with the woman. In fact, she was brilliant. It was the Malfoy men that grated his nerves. He was pretty sure that the outcome would be less than pleasing for all parties if he did attend the dinner, but he was finding it difficult to ignore the woman’s invitation. Harry didn’t detect any falseness from the woman when they met.

Moreover, she was family and that did get to him pretty hard.

“What do you want to do?” The portrait of the former Lady Potter questioned him. He didn’t reply, choosing to remain silent for some time.

“I like her. She is nice to be around. And she partly reminds me of you. The facial features and all.” He pointed out. Dorea nodded.

“We Blacks all have the same facial structures. It's seen in every Black. Narcissa was the first blonde in centuries to be born as a Black. It was a pretty big thing among the family.”

“She said that she was close with Dad.” He pointed out.

The woman nodded. “Bellatrix and Andromeda were very much older than her. She was the youngest and she left for Hogwarts with Sirius and your father. So, she was closer to my James and Sirius than her sisters.

“She was a wonderful girl. Always around me and your father. She liked it here more than Grimmauld. It was understandable. With Walburga and her continuous spouting of nonsense was unbearable She drove Sirius away. She never should have got the control of the Black family and she toyed with it, marrying Bellatrix and Narcissa to Lestrange and Malfoy. The two women didn’t have the nerve and strength to oppose their aunt like Andromeda, the middle sister did. She ran off with a muggle born.” She explained taking Harry by surprise.

“She did?” Dorea nodded.

“Yes. I, as well as your grandfather were surprised by that. We had not expected that from her. But Walburga didn’t take kindly to that and banished her from the family.” She explained.

Harry nodded. The Blacks took to blood purity a lot more seriously than required, though all those old families were the same. Although they had mellowed out recently, his grandmother and Sirius being the examples, they still looked down on muggles and muggleborns.

Harry had never seen Andromeda, but the woman gained his respect just by what she did. That was incredibly brave of her.

“I guess I must write back and tell them that I will be there.” He said as he retrieved a parchment.

—-&&&-----

He was drilled a few last-minute instructions by his grandmother as he got ready. He had not dressed too formally. A white button up shirt with blue jeans, a golden watch that was apparently his father’s, a gift from his mother. He had managed to tame his hair with a few tips from Dorea and he got ready to leave.

“Remember, Harry. Don’t back down. Don’t let them take you for granted. You are the Lord of the Potters and Potters just command respect with their mere presence. Think like Charlus Potter’s grandson. Behave like the Lord of the Potter family.” She finished.

Harry nodded and stepped into the floo. “Malfoy Manor!” He spoke clearly and disappeared from his office at Potter Manor.

A few moments later, he stepped out of the fireplace into a very comfortable room. He saw Narcissa and Draco waiting for him.

The woman’s face broke into a warm smile as she saw him. She stepped forward.

“Lord Potter. Welcome to Malfoy Manor.”

Harry held her outstretched hand and placed a small kiss on her knuckles.

“Thank you, Lady Malfoy. I am happy to be here.” He turned to the Malfoy heir.

“Heir Malfoy.” He nodded.

“Lord Potter.” Draco greeted back and Harry was sure that he was not happy to see him. He didn’t pay any attention to it. The feeling was mutual.

“Dinner is ready, Lord Potter.” Harry nodded as he allowed the woman to lead him to the dining hall. He occupied the seat opposite to what appeared to be the seat of the Lord of the family.

The three of them sat down and the elves of the manor began to bring in the dishes. Harry waited patiently for the elves to serve, and he thanked the elves and began to eat. The dinner continued over light conversation when Lucius Malfoy walked in.

Harry was on the edge as soon as he laid his eyes on the man. He had tried to hurt him once before and in Hogwarts in his second year, and now, he would not put it past him when he would have the advantage.

The man’s eyes narrowed in on Harry and a sneer decorated his face.

“Lord Potter…” He gritted out almost painfully. “Honor to have you here.” He whispered.

Harry fought the urge to strangle the man. “Likewise, Lord Malfoy.”

“I hope my son and wife have been good hosts for the evening. I would have remained here and seen the proceedings, but I was called into the Ministry. The Minister had requested my presence for a very urgent matter of which he personally needed my input.”

Harry smirked at the attempt of the blonde ponce. He was trying to showcase his power and influence and in front of a Potter, no less. He noticed Narcissa try to stifle her laughter and he caught her eye smiling back at the woman.

“Of course.” Harry switched back to the Malfoy Lord. “No offense taken, Lord Malfoy. We must do what we must do.” The man nodded and sat down for dinner.

"Narcissa spoke highly of you, Lord Potter. She was impressed by your presence. And that is impressive considering she is hard to please. She was adamant that you should be here and invited you here very quickly.” He shot a sharp glare at his wife that he thought escaped Harry’s eyes.

Harry was surprised to see the vibrant woman flinch and look down into her lap. What was going on?

“Lady Malfoy is too kind. We got along very well, and I liked her presence as well.” Harry explained.

The dinner passed on in silence when Narcissa spoke once more.

“Will you be at the World Cup, Harry?” She questioned.

Harry shook his head. As much as he liked quidditch, he had other things to do, and he was not interested in attending this world cup.

“As much as I love to, I have other matters to attend to, Mrs. Malfoy. So, I don’t think I would.” Harry said.

After dinner was up, they gathered in the sitting room for a small talk.

“Ron did write to me, and he asked me to join his family. Mr. Weasley has received tickets from the ministry I guess, and he invited me, but I decided against it. I have a few things I have to complete in and around Potter Manor.” Narcissa was surprised by that.

“You are staying in Potter Manor?” She asked. At Harry’s nod, she smiled.

“I used to love that place. With Aunt Dorea around, I used to spend a lot of time over there.” She sighed remembering all those times she spent over there.

“Grandma said as such.” He smiled.

“Aunt Dorea?” Narcissa frowned. “No…I meant her portrait.” Harry explained.

She nodded. “I would like to see her again, if you agree, Harry.”

“Of course.” Harry nodded. He would certainly not mind that.

“Narcissa?” Lucius interrupted and Harry raised an eyebrow. “I need to speak to you.” He said, getting up. Narcissa grimaced and stood up dutifully and followed after her husband.

Harry and Draco sat quietly, not speaking a word for a while. They stared at each other for a while and just when the atmosphere was about to get tense, Narcissa and behind her Lucius walked in.

Harry stood up, thinking of taking his leave when he noticed that Narcissa’s cheek was swollen. It didn’t take too long for him to put two and two together. She flinched the moment Lucius stepped next to her.

“Mrs. Malfoy?” He stepped up to the woman who was not meeting his eyes.

“Mrs. Malfoy, what happened?” He prodded.

She shook her head, trying to put a smile on her face, but failing miserably.

Harry’s eyes began to glow faintly as he held the woman's hand.

“Did he strike you?” He asked gently. Narcissa flinched at his words but didn’t reply. She looked ready to burst into tears.

“Mrs. Malfoy?” He questioned gently. She nodded.

She looked back into Harry’s eyes, and she was shocked to see the change in his visage. His face seemed to have gained age and he looked almost similar to Charlus Potter.

“You dare?” His voice was nothing more than a whisper. Lucius stared back at Harry with a superior smirk on his face.

“She is my wife, Potter. Why do you care?” He drawled.

“You dare?" This time the sound was harsh and chilling at the same time. Lucius’s smirk slid off his face as he felt a light shudder hit his spine.

“She got what she deserved, Potter. She ignored my words and invited a filthy half blood into the Home of the Malfoys. I asked her explicitly to not invite you, but she ignored me. Me!” He snapped.

Harry noticed Narcissa flinching once more. His anger escaped his confines as he saw that.

“You dare treat my family this way?” He asked loudly.

He turned back to Narcissa. “Are you happy here?” He asked the woman. She seemed hesitant to answer. Harry questioned her again.

“Don’t be scared. Remember who you are. Remember which family you come from. Talk to me. There is nothing you should be afraid of.” Harry soothed the woman.

“No.” She whispered. Harry hummed and his eyes bore into that of the Malfoy Lord.

“Let’s go. You will come with me.” He said and turned to go back.

“Where do you think you are going?” Lucius snarled, taking his wand into his hand, but even before he could raise his hand, his wand was snatched away from the man much to his surprise.

“A wand? You invited me into your house and raised your wand at me?” His meaning was not lost on Lucius who became red in the face. If word got out that he attacked a Lord in the guise of dinner, he would be fed to the vultures.

“As of today, Lucius Malfoy, your marriage with Narcissa Black has been annulled.” Lucius and Draco stared at each other and began to laugh.

Harry regarded the two calmly, waiting for them to finish, Narcissa was trying desperately to get his attention.

“And you brought this fool into my house?” He drawled at his wife.

“You must do your homework in our ways, Potter. Your mudblood mother failed to teach you?” Draco questioned. Harry’s temper flared and his eyes glowed bright green as his breathing quickened.

He took a deep breath before smirking once again.

“As the power possessed in my capacity as the Heir of the Black family.” He willed the Black heir ring to appear, and Lucius and Draco blanched as they realized what took place.

“My mudblood mother failed to teach me the ways of the purebloods. She left me too soon, you know. But had she been alive, she would certainly have taught me to respect a woman.” He said as he turned around.

Narcissa was crying, but she was happy. Her smile widened as he stood next to her.

“You will regret this, Potter!” Lucius snarled. Harry threw the man’s wand to the floor.

“You don’t know the kind of enemy you are making.”

“I don’t know.” Harry shrugged without turning back. “But I guess I am alright.” He held out his hand for the woman to take and walked out with her.

“You will meet the same sticky end as your parent’s Potter.” Draco screamed in anger.

Narcissa stopped in her tracks. She regarded her son with pain.

“Come with me, Draco. You don’t have to live this way.” She begged.

The bastard sneered at his mother. “You gave us up for the sake of that halfblooded filth? I am ashamed of you.” He spat, causing his mother to recoil in sadness and shock.

Narcissa wiped away her tears before straightening herself. “Very well.” She whispered.

Harry watched as Narcissa walked out of the room leaving him with the Malfoy males. He stared at the two of them in amusement. If looks could have killed, he was sure that their stares would have burnt him alive.

“Your master couldn’t do it, Malfoy. What makes you think that you will succeed?” He challenged before walking away from the sitting room.

But atleast he said said it's and the families can see the truth. I mean imagine Draco who is die hard pro-pureblood hears that voldie is a son of a muggle

GodoftheSeas21

It holds merit. But the thing is that those people don't believe it. Lost in their delusions, they just ignore it and won't believe it even if it is thrown into their face.

Why does in Fanfics when all those former death eaters bring up that Harry is a halfblood or that his mother was a mudblood does he never bring up the fact that Ole Voldy was the son of a muggle. It would've been perfect if he said "thats funny that you're one to talk about mudbloods malfoy, considering you were licking the boots of a muggle and squib. Atleast both of my parents were a witch and wizard." Or something like that
