Mizutsune Monday 62 (HR)

 This week's based on a sketch Elkcip145 did, which was a follow-up to this image here.  This drawing would be taking place shortly before that sketch, where  the unnamed mitsune is settling in after swallowing down her guests, and  before Lagiacrus and Gore began their game of Go Fish in her stomach.   Rathalos is still awake for the time being, but he and the mitzutsune  will both have nodded off by the time Elkcip's sketch comes into play.
 

The trio will be regurgitated some time tomorrow, but they'll be back -  tama's belly is such a comfortable place to chill and hang out!
 

A little bit of side-info here;  the mitsune here's basically eating  their energy here rather than digesting them,  but only siphoning off  enough to make them tired (Rathalos being the first to fall asleep I  guess!).  Lagia and Gore managed to stay awake longer, but eventually  they nodded off as well.
 

While talking about this to Igny on discord, I described her stomach  walls as being like "solar panels" - soaking up the energy given off by  living things to nourish her while they're in her belly,  but when she  feels the need to she can increase that intake and actively siphon off  some more,  which in turn makes her "prey" begin to feel drowsy and a  little light headed.
 

It gives her enough sustenance to warrant the effort of swallowing them,  skipping a few meals, and then later regurgtitating them. Without this  method, she'd need to digest her guests to keep herself going - and  that'd be counterproductive for a 'living hotel' so that won't do!  Hence, her coming up with this trick - handily borrowed from Xeno'Jiiva  itself :3
 

Sorry for the sloppiness this time around;  the drawing was tricky  enough but I had been quite tired toda and just wanted to get this done  xD
It's a little bit of a mess, but Lagiacrus's second half is resting atop  Rathalos's stomach and chest, and Gore's curled up around and behind  Lagiacrus.  Rathalos's tail I uh... Well I forgot to re-sketch it but  let's pretend it's behind Gore or something ^^;
