*Explorers land upon the New World*

Colonist 1 - At last we have arrived.

Colonist 2 - Let us be on guard. These savage lands know nothing of Christ Jesus.

Colonist 2 - But...how do you already have a bible?

Colonist 1 - Was your land already discovered? Has someone already converted you?

Native 2 - Yep. What’s Jerusalem like this time of year?

Native 1 - Jacob, Isaac, Joseph, Jesus Christ Himself, the whole nine yards, yeah of course.

Native 2 - Why? What’s the big deal?

Colonist 1 - If you were never visited by Christians, you see, then how was it that you became Christians?

*Natives both laugh*

Native 2 - Do you believe in God or not?

Colonist 2 - Well of course we do!

Native 1 - The one TRUE God?

Native 2 - Yahweh?

Native 1 - Jehova?

Native 2 - Daddy big boss?

Colonist 1 - Obviously, yes! What kind of question is that?

Colonist 2 - Of course we believe in the one true God!

Native 1 - Don’t you ever pray to God?

Native 2 - Ask Him for guidance?

Native 1 - Receive His signs?

Native 2 - Communicate?

Colonist 1 - Yes yes of course we do!

Colonist 2 - I’ll have you know that I pray every single day, sir.

Native 1 - Don’t you think we pray too?

Native 2 - And since there’s only one true God, why would He communicate any differently with us than He does with you?

Native 1 - Yeah what other god is going to answer us when we pray?

Native 2 - Exactly, there’s only one true God, remember?

Colonist 1 - But we brought you this bible to...to…

Colonist 2 - ...to teach you about God and....

*natives laugh*

Native 1 - Why would God...need you...to tell us...about Him?

Native 2 - Yeah, He’s omnipresent, silly.

Native 1 - That means He’s everywhere…

Colonist 1 - Yes I’m aware.

Native 2 - All at once.

Colonist 2 - We know!

Native 1 - So don’t you think that if there really is one true God, and He does indeed communicate with human beings, that Christianity would already have manifested in other places around the world before men showed up with books?

Native 2 - Yeah. Why wouldn’t someone come up with Christianity without ever talking to another human being period? All they need to do is talk to God to know the truth.

Native 1 - Exactly. Why do you think God Almighty needs you to speak for Him?

Native 2 - Yep. Romans 1:19, “For what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from His workmanship, so that men are without excuse…”

Colonist 1 - Of course, of course.
