As such, the hardest work these days comes before I draw or animate anything. The difficulty now comes with writing and choosing which script to turn into a video.
I just finished one that depicts an uncanny similarity between God and a domestic abuser (I did some research on domestic abuse, and reading what abusers say was like reading bible verses). That is not a unique idea, but I've never seen it depicted the way I imagined it, so I think it will be worth putting out there.
Another idea, which is still in the early stages, challenges an idea that seems to becoming more accepted these days, even amongst secular people, that religion was the basis of our civilization and values. It will approach the topic by refuting the common Christian apologist talking point that the Scientific Revolution was driven by Christianity.
