I am so scared you guys will jump off this show after season 1, which is the weakest season since they didn't know if they'll get more than one season. It would be a real shame if you missed some amazing Avatar lore reveals in the next season, and just general continued epic-ness through the rest of the show.

The fight scenes are SOOO WELL CHOREOGRAPHED in The Legend of Korra. I really enjoyed how HYPED you guys were!! WAIT TIL SEASON 3 🤫 HEHEHE

Suraj, Pabu is nowhere near as useful as Momo. Momo literally saved Aang against Azula during the drill. He helped lead them to Appa. And other shit I can't remember. I also feel like Suraj is hamming up his reactions... a little.

Bad news Nahid, if you're struggling with S1 you're not going to like S2 very much. S2 is easily the worst of it all. But S3 and S4 are fantastic and more than make up for it. I might even recommend people skip over S2 entirely and only go back and watch it if they really feel like they want to -- but you guys can't really do that since your viewers will freak out.

I have no doubt you guys are gonna love the rest of the series, LOK and ATLA are my favorite shows. I love them both as much as the other since they each have a lot of cool and unique things. As stated by the other 90% here, you might feel a bit meh in the first half of season 2 but from that point onward (including seasons 3 and 4) it’s only gonna get better and better

Uhm, they're right though. Asami and Mako for example are blank characters with almost no development. Don't get me wrong; LOK has lots of great characters, but you won't find them in Team Avatar.

Season 2 isn't too bad. Second half is really good imo

If you feel like the secondary characters are lacking, look at Tenzin. He’s basically being a father figure to a reincarnation of his father. Also both Korra and Tenzin reflect Aang in different ways and it’s cool to see those reflections in a close proximity to one another. Tbh, these observations went over my head in my initial viewing, probably because they’re so different as personalities go. Now as I’m rewatching with ya’ll, it’s so interesting to constantly keep their relationship in mind and analyze their interactions.

There's no way I'd expect you guys to be as invested in LOK (at this point in the story) as you were with ATLA at its conclusion. Story/Character comparisons are not recommended, at least not until you've seen both shows in their entirety. But if you must make comparisons, it's more realistic to compare the first 6 episodes of LOK with the first 10 episodes of ATLA. I think I was about on par with Suraj's feelings towards the show at this point. I personally LOVE pro-bending and I'm happy it exists in this world. Obviously the show's not about that but it was a very entertaining sub-plot leading into the main plot. I saw you getting into it too, Nahid. lol I'm sure you guys know things are really picking up now. I hope you enjoy!

I never understood the hate or criticism against Legend of Korra people have on the show. I understand not liking it as much Avatar but hating. There definitely are flaws in this shows no doubt much like Avatar but, shouldn't worsen your experience of Korra. Two of my biggest problems with Korra are that they hardly ever show the old characters or make events to the other show and that characters aren't as interesting.

Season 1 is pretty good. You're gonna have to power through the first half of season 2 (esp Nahid--It's gonna be a rough ride for like 6 episodes). Season 3 is incredible, and on par with the best of the last airbender. Season 4 again is pretty great too.

I agree with Nahid, when the series first came out I was reluctant to dive right in and like it but then I grew to love it as much as Last Airbender. For book one it just needed to get a few episodes in to get everything going. I’ll admit the first half of season two is kind of rough but after that the rest of the series is amazing!

I mean it would be fine to compare if you guys had spent equal amounts of time with characters from both shows. everyone from ATLA will be amazing and more fleshed out to you guys, you had 60 episodes with them. Korra youve only spent 6 episodes. theres a huge discrepancy. if we compared first 6 episodes of ATLA and Korra, ATLA characters wouldn't be as good, because that was a slower show, you wouldn't like Zuko(like you are using him now to compare) the bending was not as good in the first 6 episodes of ATLA. i could go on. Recency bias/effect
