[Early Access] Lost - 1x1 Pilot Part 1 - Nikki Reacts

I know we've tried Lost before with the group in the past but since everyone has already seen the show (and those who have not are not possible to schedule at the same time) we decided to do reactions through the eye of Nikki! You might have remembered her from the Sense8 reactions.
We wanted to give this a shot and run through the first few episodes to see if this would be a viable reaction series for you guys. Let us know your thoughts! Look forward to more episodes next week!

2018-02-03 03:35:04 +0000 UTCI am pretty meh on the show at this point, but what concerns me more is the time commitment of 121 hour-long episodes, when there are so many other shows out that are as good or better and which will take far less time to watch.

2018-02-02 18:50:35 +0000 UTCAgreed @theNYRfan , LOST still holds up well to this day in my opinion, but watching it back then as it aired was a whole different experience. It was the start of the "golden era" of TV, and there was nothing like it before. It has inspired many stuff after even if they were sprinkled here and there. Going online between episodes/seasons, theorizing, watching the countless YouTube videos about people "breaking down" scenes, and all the discussions and theories online. Nothing has come close to that experience watching a show since. Perhaps Westworld is the closest I have gotten to LOST experience to date, and that show has a lot of LOST influences in my opinion and a couple of things are direct eater eggs to LOST it feels like. Anyway, as for the reaction, I must admit that I was skeptical seeing this at first. Don't get me wrong, any LOST/Nomries/Suraj crossover would get me hyped, but I was a little sad to see this as a potentially new series as opposed to The Normies who haven't seen it. However, I am glad I was wrong watching this! It was amazing and really made me look forward for more in that series. The dynamic was very good and Suraj handled it really well without giving anything away but also explaining what to "expect" from the show. The fresh eyes made me realize the amount of "jump scares" the first episode had, but I think it was a good way to lure people and make them slowly fall in love with the characters. Loved the little subtle moments Suraj was smiling and looking at the camera and giving Nikki those quick looks right from the beginning. Starting at the eye opening, white shoes, and all throughout those little things that I don't want to spoil. Point is, that was a great video and very enjoyable, and looking forward for more! Nothing gets me as excited and as passionate as this show, even after all this time. THANK YOU for taking the time to film and edit this!

2018-02-02 18:38:16 +0000 UTCFuck all the haters. Lost is the GOAT TV watching experience for me. Never watched a show where I speculated and theorized more. The anticipation for season premieres and reading message boards and listening to podcasts, LOST was an experience in itself.
