2017-05-04 01:16:57 +0000 UTCAlso, rewatching this so many times now, it was indeed really messed up of the General to do that to Aang. He was essentially using Aang like a tool he could toy with. It didn't matter if he was horribly abusing and traumatizing a child. I got so mad as soon as Aang started crying because of how helpless he felt. Like who does that?? I really love how the Avatar can be killed. Like even though the Avatar is this all-powerful divine being, they are still human and still susceptible to death. Bryke (Bryan and Michael, the co-creators) when first developing the concept of the Avatar, they stated how they wanted to make the Avatar powerful, but believable as well. Azula? God, there's honestly nothing to say other than I love her and her intro was one of the most frightening and epic intros ever. And Suraj! If you didn't know by now, General Fong was voiced by Daniel Dae Kim :D
