I love the part of this episode where Morty tells Summer that Rick isn't a villain, but he isn't a good guy either. He's more like a demon or fucked up god. I keep thinking our Rick's origin is tied to Evil Morty. I think our Rick isn't from dimension C-137. I think he came from another dimension where he stayed with his family, which is why he has memories and pictures of a young Morty. That was Evil Morty. I think he and Evil Morty were close but Morty ended up turning on Rick. Maybe he destroyed the world, who knows? But I think that's why Rick went to C-137 and took our Morty under his wing as his second Morty. I think Rick is trying to keep our Morty from turning too, because he's seen how a Morty can go bad.

I like Navi's theory of Rick's origin. Slightly tweaked I could also imagine Rick inventing the portal gun, and then when he uses it he gets lost, not knowing which universe was his original one, so it took him years to find out, and make it back to C137. So many possibilities!

I agree, Chris' theory definitely holds water. Where are they going to go from here if all of his enemies have been eliminated, and almost all of the different Ricks are gone.

Yay you guys are caught up! Chris I'm totally feeling that theory of your that Rick is still trapped in that simulation. Way better than Wisecracks "this is about Camus' Absurdism" which sure the series always does delve into that, but I believe Rick has found his meaning in his family (even though he hates to admit it) and a few episodes show this (particularly the one where he sacrifices himself for Morty, like why do that if you don't care and can easily replace a Morty). Anyway that theory of your seems likely as everything played way to well into Rick's hand. Oh and FYI that bug that was interrogating Rick was voice by Firefly alumni Nathan Fillion. He gave his best Rick impression this episode and I must admit it was pretty good.

I know that. Making a harmless not serious comment doesnt mean i forgot everything they posted the other day. You people need to lighten up (not you specifically) about people asking for updates. They care, and want to know when content is coming. Theres nothing wrong with asking.

I literally just said I don't mind not getting the episode, I just wanted to know if I should expect it or not, how is that unreasonable? He can relax I didn't ask for the episode or nag him to get it out, I just asked if there was another one coming this week; see the difference? Remember he did say that the second one was coming out like 2 nights ago, so me just respectfully checking in on it isn't ridiculous in my opinion.
