Aghhh the wait is killing me this episode answered barely anything and gave us a hundred more questions!

Haha I wanted to yell at the screen that it wasn't a fire but the yellow glow of a titan transformation. Also, after Ymir gets stabbed by that soldier (very different uniforms then the ones within the walls) you can clearly see the syringe. Maybe in that society the ultimate punishment is being turned into a titan. Also, if you remember way back, Reiner seemed to recognize the language of the can that Ymir had, and then he asked her "are you.." before the titans attacked the tower. I don't have any idea about what is going on either but it seems that maybe Ymir and Reiner &amp; co come from the same region/ land/country/whatever the fuck it is. Maybe Eren's dad is from there too, that would explain why he also has a syringe and is alluded to know the secrets of the titans which he keeps in his basement? That would explain a lot. I also want to know about this King, why his blood is important, and why Christa is important for being of his blood? Maybe those with this king's blood have a connection to the Titans in some way? WE haven't seen the king and tbh we may not see it in forever but I REALLY don't want to read the manga because the show is so hype but I hate the wait lmaooo. Alright I'm done with the theories lol

Thank you Ben for helping them realize what they saw in this episode. It was so frustrating hearing them say it was just a fire! How many times do they need to see a titan transformation??? Also thanks for pointing out the Coordinate part because they totally missed it. And yes, Annie was there when Ymir ate their friend. It shows her in that scene. I'm happy some of you at least read the manga so you can point out the important parts.

So Ymir's backstory wasn't this fleshed out in the manga if I remember correctly... They give you a lot more information and clues here in the anime a lot earlier than in the manga...

the actual official title of the opening song is "Opfert eure Herzen!" (Shinzou wo sasageyo!) which is german and means "Devote your hearts!" but yeah the openings always have that german marching tune to it :P

Yeah, at the wall scene, if you look closely you can see the soldiers had syringes in their hands (like Eren's dad), so they most likely injected them with something just before kicking them over the wall. I'm not a manga reader, but I think its pretty obvious what was implied in that scene. Other than that, I'm still pretty clueless on the why lol. Well, Ymir did say she was wandering outside the walls for about 60 years, so I'm pretty sure she spent much of that time just doing that. She then later fell asleep for a few years(?), was covered by the ground, woke up later surprising everyone and ate Marcel. Overall, hands down I think this episode is one of my faves mainly because of Ymir. And good god, Suraj! Don't violate Momo like that!! &gt;:O
