Sorry for the super late upload everyone. I'm working on the very next episode as well and am still trying to crank as many out as quickly as possible whilst preparing for GoT and other content we're prepping. Thanks for your patience!
This episode was especially hard for me to edit, and then rewatch to make sure there were no hiccups in the export. I ended up tearing up every time during the Appa flashback sequence with Aang. Our family dog is actually getting to that age and the vet said she was depressed because she is aware of her impending health. So this episode especially hits home to me. I love Appa! This is such an amazing show and I'm so glad we started watching. As rabid as the fanbase can be, it's for a good reason: to spread awareness of the show. It sucks that when people hear Avatar they think of James Cameron. Once we're finished with the series, we will not be done releasing ATLA content. (Not talking about Korra)

If a high-popularity show is getting delayed due to a low-popularity one, the situation can be fixed easily. My highest priority is Avatar but of course, it's just me. A popularity poll could really help to find the most popular for your entire fanbase :D!

2017-07-06 08:39:40 +0000 UTCHere in Chile was 2:24AM (Thu), so, it was almost on time tbh, thanks for all the work you put in the editing of these episodes, it adds a lot to the reactions. What I enjoy most about yours (compared to those of other channels) is how genuine they seem to me, much like the ones we must have experienced the first time we saw this series. I really appreciate the roller coaster of emotions that you seemed to went through with this episode. Rana's reaction at the end, with Appa's capture, was especially spot on. This episode is so great, the writers did an excellent job. The way they touched on the subject of contraband and animal abuse, and its consequences (which we'll continue to see reflected throughout the series) is heartbreaking and very sincere. On another topic, I'm here for all the Shyamalan dragging. If he hadn't ruined the film, knowing that he was not prepared for the challenge, A:TLA would be in a much higher place in the collective unconscious of people and pop culture in general. Thanks for the video, keep the good work~

This episode was awarded for its portrayal of animal cruelty, especially in circuses. Other than that, you guys feeling emotional over seeing Appa going through so much shit speaks volume to the amount of love and care the writers gave to the non-talking characters of the show. Just so much feels with this episode! This episode also made me feel Aang's pain of being separated from Appa even more. I just want them to be together already!!
