I think the solution would be to stop promising or even Suggesting what days the videos will be out. Its better to have a surprise than a disappointment. But an extra editor would be helpful for us $10 patrons

Wow, the response to this has been overwhelmingly positive and civil. Glad to see it. Anyways, I agree with most of what's already been said. Take your time, Suraj. I'm a bit of a perfectionist myself and I'll be damned if i allow sub-par work of mine to be seen by mortal eyes. lol One piece of advice would be to try not to make any solid promises about delivering things at a specific time, at least not during this stage of growing pains. A teeny tiny (a few sentences) update if something takes longer than expected should suffice for most people. And if it doesn't...well, that's their problem. Keep up the good work, dude!

So no season 3 this week then? Honestly dude just stop promising shit. There's a lot of work to do and id say no more announcing. Updates like this are great, but the inconsistencty has affected the channel in a bad way. You just have too much to do with not enough backup. Until you get more help, just dont do promises. Its better to have people wait and hype than promise and be let down every time.

I think the issue is that their patrons skyrocketed and now they're just going through growing pains. Also, at the end of the month right before payment was due, many people dropped their pledge and then resigned up a few days later to avoid paying. So the number that you see might not be what they are getting moneywise? And before anyone else can go full time or before they start hiring anyone they need to make sure that the income is stable.

Thanks for the update. I was just wondering under the $1500, $2000, $3000 and $5000 tier pledges, it was said you could support a small team of editors, 2 full time and a couple part-time. Are you able to do that? It seems like everything is put on you, with your actual work and that's super stressful for you!

First of all, you guys are putting hard work and passion into what you do and it still baffles me how much work and editing you guys get done in such little time. To me it's fine if the episodes get uploaded on the channel later than certain people expected. It takes a lot of time to edit it properly and thumbs up to you guys (especially you Suraj) for sacrificing your time to get this stuff out to the fans. Keep being awesome! :)

Thank you for the update Suraj, I have plenty of Normies content to watch to keep me busy until you get the new videos up. I'm sorry that you've had to deal with some harsh Avatar fans. Most of us understand it's just you & you're working hard to balance this with your other obligations. To my fellow Avatar fans, constructive criticism is fine, but being rude/mean isn't. It's strange how many fans of the show never learned the lessons of balance and compassion that the show taught us. Seriously, take a lesson from the show and learn to unlock your chakras. Nothing is promised, not in life, not even the schedule. This isn't HBO, this isn't Netflix, this is just a group of people who are doing the best that they can. They have other obligations besides Avatar. Other shows they react to, like Game of Thrones which just premiered and Suraj probably spent hours editing. Beyond that, Nahid and Rana aren't around often and if they want to use their time with them this past weekend to film/binge more Avatar content instead of editing episodes, I'm okay with that.

Have you thought about using final cut rather than adobe premiere? Since you use a Mac, the exporting time should be cut down tremendously.
