Nine times out of ten I choose to watch anime subtitled and avoid the dubbed versions at all costs. However, this show is that one out of ten, and one of the few in which I think the dubbed version is better than the original.

Thx guys! Btw in case u guys didn’t know, the creators of CB also made another anime called samurai champloo. Like how CB has jazz, Champloo has a hip hop vibe. The soundtrack by nujabes for the show is amazing.

Thanks for the double drop! In regards to your discussion on what Gren did - he didn't do anything. He was accused of being a spy and Vicious testified against him in court. When Gren met Julia, she told Gren to open the music box Vicious gave him (because she is familiar with Vicious' nature). In the music box there was a transmitter. Gren was set up by Vicious. This is also why Gren left in the music box in the red eye that exploded on Vicious' ship. Vicious did not get away with the drug. In part one you also missed the part when Gren tells Fey, in regards to her leaving - "You're afraid they'd abandon you, so you abandoned them first." No spoilers, but this is important to Fey's character.

As for dubs even the director said the Dub Spike was 100% better. He took the character.
