BaSingSe is different from most first or second world labeled countries. When the leadership has a competent SYSTEM someone can die/be deposed/abdicate and there is a leader that rises, or very short battle for control. I am not advocating for death of leaders. Some leaders are not good and deposing them from power is great. JOKER-style will kill an entire board and all heirs to achieve chaos, where the SYSTEM is forced to fail and doesn't have a chance to get things under control in a short time frame. BaSingSe had one totalitarian ruler that called every shot, so when she is gone there is a struggle to maintain peace and order because of the SYSTEM not the actual death. I don't understand how not liking or wanting to change your leader is not supporting the country. If your captain is leading your crew mates towards mutiny/ruin. Do you really hate the ship, if you want to change the captain? Suraj I really hope you will stop saying, "I don't want to bring politics...just say one thing" and then literally have a political conversation with all present. Just come out with your opinions, and don't pad them out. We may all not agree but I for one like to hear you all speak your mind on things without the hesitation.

Yh that’s the point the episode was trying to make, it’s not that order is bad, but the way the queen upheld it meant if she fell there would be no other power the people could turn to, neither her fanatical believers like Bolins grandmother or those who see her tyrant ;people’s actions weren’t based on laws, but on what she wanted.If Zaheer was to kill the Mayor of Republic city, the city wouldn’t crumble, because it is a democracy, the mayor is just a cog in the wheel, unlike the queen who’s the wheel itself

Suraj you do know that two presidents have died while in office without the US falling into chaos, right? We have a lot of safeguards to prevent that kind of thing from happening. Power is distributed across the three branches, particularly the Executive and the Legislative. Plus, state governments would provide order as well, not to mention the 25th amendment and the succession clause that provides continuity. Because the Queen held so much power, when she fell, there weren’t other structures to provide a smooth transition

suraj you do have to keep in mind while this show does have a quite sophisticated plot line compared to other shows, it is still also targeted towards kids and has comic relief moments like that one in the truck, it's not meant to be taken seriously to the point where bolin was trying to collect info

Remember that there is a precedent to this as well. In ATLA, gyatso's skeleton was surrounded by dozens of fire nation soldier bodies, with the implication that he killed them while they were all juiced up the comet. This is probably how he took a bunch of them out.

Correction: It was Aang who grabbed the Golden Egg not Zuko. And yes, the Golden Egg was indeed the dragon that Zuko has in LOK. You guys forgot that Korra is still new to metal bending, she stated that in episode 8, and besides, she's all tied up and couldn't bend anything.
