Should We Watch Episode 13 of Hunter x Hunter?

That My Hero Academia recap episode was all right, just unfortunate that they chose to start the season with it after all the hype of starting a new season. It should have been a middle or end of the season thing rather than a season premiere.

Do not react to it, but you guys DO NEED TO WATCH IT FOR YOURSELF (also keep it for guests that might join the hunterxhunter panel later and missed a lot), especially since you don’t have the time to rewatch all 12 logistically and it seems you’ve misconstrued a lot of stuff especially since you are working with the subtitled version. It frames everything nicely; I only wouldn’t recommend it for people who understand Japanese, did a rewatched or pay 100% attention during the first watch.

I would say skip it, but you can maybe skim through it a little before watching the next one or before editing ep 14 There is a minute of a new scene in the beginning. Then a scene from around twenty minute mark and there is a photo shown there. The episode does show something, but it is not THAT crucial or important. I myself would still look at these two scenes though, just out of curiosity

Since the result of the poll is pretty obvious I don't feel bad "spoiling" the ep. It's basically just a recap episode framed as Gon's Aunt receiving his letters detailing what's happened till now. Literally, that's it. Same exact recap framing device is used for episode 26, the only other recap episode of the series. No other fillers/recaps in the series after that.

I can't stand recap episodes in anything. Nobody watches them. If someone was to know what happened they go on wiki, youtube, or just rematch it.

Yeah definitely skip it, it’s mostly just a recap of first 12 episodes, BUT you can skip to the end of the episode if you wanna see how Gons dad looks like.
