THANK YOU. Someone else that actually gets how different levels of spoilers actually work! Raising/lowering expectations for particular episodes is still a spoiler, people...even if it's not as bad as actually giving plot details, you are basically saying "Ok guys! I can't wait till you get to the part where Darth Vader gives Luke a speech! What he reveals is CRAZY!" :)

Stop overhyping episodes guys please, it's no better than spoilers because it tells them to expect something.

LOVE your reactions to this show! Especially Navi's cuz it's not very often that we see a reactor who has seen the first FMA series in its entirety, remembers it reasonably well, AND has never seen the Brotherhood series. I find her reactions especially fascinating. And the rest of you aren't just accessories to Navi either, haha. Each of you has such different personalities and different things to bring to this reaction and I can't WAIT to see the rest of the series with you. PS: i think the people telling Navi not to compare the two FMA series, just meant that the two series are different enough that if you keep thinking that certain storylines will happen the same in both series, then you'll get really confused. I don't think they really meant for you to stop drawing comparisons between the two. I for one, enjoy your thoughts on the differences/similarities very much

I don’t think Hawkeye is supposed to be a shopgirl. I think she’s supposed to be a prostitute working in a brothel. That’s just how I inferred it with Roy being a womanizer and him frequenting Madame Christmas’s establishment.

I love how incredibly smart and meticulous Roy is here. He planned out everything with the fake body on the fly, set up the entire sting operation to draw out the enemy, and supervises that operation by talking in code with Hawkeye under the guise of flirting with some shopgirl over the phone. All while throwing his own reputation under the bus by making himself look like a cold blooded killer.
