This show doesn't just drop exposition for no reason. The next 3 episodes are great for picking up speed and establishing all of the characters, then the show takes off from there.

I've just watched Season 5 episodes 4-15 to catch up after taking a break for uni work. Omg the show has just become even better than before and that is saying something as I thought season 4 was phenomenal. The scene ending "...not with a bang but a..." was insanely well made. Favourite season 5 scene is definitely one involving an actor called Iain. Cannot say any more without spoilers though

That was me who invoked those other shows! In time you’ll see for yourself though. Watching how you guys react to these early episodes is a treat.
