I’m glad Suraj mentioned the writing. IMHO this is easily one of the best written episodes of the show. When most people think of Community, the parody episodes such as Modern Warfare come to mind, but this one succeeds purely on dialogue and character interaction. Each of the 7 characters get a chance to shine and not a single line is wasted.

I just realized that they probably won't watch The Wire and know who Omar is prior to Community Season 3 and that makes me sad. :(

This episode was written by Megan Ganz. This was the first episode of the show she had ever written. She also wrote episode 16 this season. She's amazing.
