It is given much more context later on that makes it a bit more bearable. What did you guys think of this episode back when it was on? I want to talk Lost more with you all down in the comments so I will be responding to any questions/observations in episodes. - Suraj
Also just want to tell you guys we have watched up to the Season 1 finale! Her love/hate for certain characters change going towards the finale and it is a lot of fun to see!

The Rose and Charlie scenes in here were some of my favorites that I completely forgot about. Agreed there needed to be some breather after the last one and I am also not pointing out ALL the references right away to her. I'm sort of playing it by ear to cater to her experience as well as to not tamper it with my nerdiness. I didn't notice the repeat of that line from the Pilot until I edited this episode either!

2018-04-17 22:54:13 +0000 UTCGreat reaction and editing as usual. I like the call back this episode to the pilot to Kate’s “I don’t know how to use a gun” line. Also, I never know with full time watchers if I should steer their attention to the numbers with things like “Box 815” and such that pop up most episodes in flashabaks. A slower and more “filler” episode was needed after the climax of the last one, and we got to flesh out Rose more, deal with Chralie’s PTSD, and develop Shannon more before her back story. Also good seeds planted for future plots for Kate like the plane, and the man she loved/killed.

I’m guessing that would take at least a year though. Hopefully catch her up before season 8 and she may make it to the couch for the final season although not all her catch up reactions would be up by then.
