[Early Access] Vikings - 5x6 The Message - Group Reaction
Added 2018-04-18 00:42:07 +0000 UTCThere is a lot happening this season. I can kind of understand where the love/hate for this season comes from. Which side are you on? Do you like it or hate it? I think the show is struggling to find its footing post Travis Lothbrok. However, that doesn't mean the show has jumped the shark. I think we are all still enjoying it very much, but it does feel a little choppy this season. A good season, but maybe not my favorite one so far. So are you Team Ubbertha or Team Ivartserk?

2018-04-18 01:46:44 +0000 UTCYou guys are definitely feeling the same way most people did about season 5. There are some episodes that kinda just aren't good BUT for me, I usually found some amazing scenes scattered throughout the episodes that I didn't enjoy. Season 5A is a rollercoaster - it has a lot of ups and downs and when it's good, it's REALLY damn good (Ruthless Ivar in 5x01 with the melted cross, Hvitserk and Ubbe solo fight choreography, 5x03 with Ivar's speech, Ivar and Heahmund's little heart-to-heart in this episode - there's a lot of good Ivar scenes imo maybe that's why I like him so much) and when it's bad... well you get the picture. But I have faith in this show. I have faith in Michael Hirst. Yes, this season hasn't been as great as the previous ones yet BUT that isn't really that bad when you consider the fact that pretty much every season before hand has been amazing with almost - if any - nothing to fault. Vikings will always be an amazing show and right now the good still far outweighs the negative.
