Hoping to explore more of Coulson's time in "Tahiti' but this episode more than enough answers what we need to know about the experience. I'm liking the shift in tone of a more serious Coulson rather than comic relief Coulson that we are accustomed to. What did you guys and gals think of this episode when it first came on?

I think they said they had to keep him "awake" during the operations by using electrical stimulation on his brain otherwise he would have been brain dead even if they repaired the rest of his body. Oops you just came to that conclusion. lol.

On the Hand/Coulson thing...Coulson takes everyone's opinion into account because he has the luxury of running his team however he wants. Hand is a by the book agent and there's more Hand types than Coulson types.
