Kishimoto isn't really responsible for the pacing, though. The problem with the anime's pacing is that they decided to always translate two manga chapters into a single anime episode. If the pacing of the manga didn't fit the length of the episode, they added a bunch of flashbacks and dragged out footage. I think that as far as story arcs go, this first arc is the one that feels most like an interesting story about ninjas. It then becomes less about ninjas and more about superheroes.

the first arc is so weird compared to the rest of the series. You can see Kishi had different thoughts on story telling then what it later became, thankfully this arc is still pretty good the pacing is just slow af. It will pick up significantly in the next arc.

just a tip you should get a day where you all have nothing to do and record like 20 naruto episodes and release like 4 a week for the next 5 weeks otehr wise this will take years and also do you guys have real jobs because i always hear yaw say we have no time

This is the exact reason they should do 3 to 4 episodes a week. It is already a given that they should skip fillers and recaps. If they keep the 2 episode thing up they will be to episode 100 by the end of the year. Episode 100 is just a dent in the episodes

Same eyes means same resolve or same upbringing or they act the same. I don't think their is a real definition but it's basically you are both the same. Used a lot in anime.

Shit, last week I commented that Episode 15 was 50% recap episode and it should’ve been combined with the following episode. But it was this one. That sucks. The first arc can be so inconsistent pacing-wise it’s a pain. You have great episodes with solid pacing like 5, 11, & 12. Then you have this and Episode 8. Ironically the worst paced episodes are the Fight/Battle episodes (7, 8, 14) and the Naruto anime is widely known for its fights. Rest assured though, after Ep 16 and onwards it’s only uphill. The pacing improves, the fights definitely improve, and the story begins to unfold. BELIEVE IT

But we are figuring this out as we go. This is something new and a very long adventure we wanna make this work so we can go onto the next one but not take away from the series itself.
