A lot of people dont agree, imo because of nostalgia, but personally i really do think subs had way better delivery in this show, and i dont usually have a major preference with subs vs. dubs in other anime. Also rock lee is a weirdo but he’s definitely one of the best characters, I’m excited to see you guys react to more of him! Like i love sasuke but him getting bodied was necessary for character growth here lol

Just letting you guys know when ever someone disappears and the smoke or cloud appears its just supposed to be an animation placement for movement. They're not coming out of anything, they're just moving extremely fast in that moment, but it's a technique that requires a lot of focus, so most ninja only use it for traveling purposes. It's called the teleportation technique or body-flicker.

the sharingan can track movement, rock lee is just too fast for sasuke to track currently. taijutsu is just hand to hand combat essentially which everyone does but rock lee can only use taijutsu.

I think you guys were talking over the explanation. Sharingan can track taijutsu as well...the point is Sasuke's body cannot keep up with Lee's speed despite his eyes being able to read every details of Lee's movement
