It's not that pointless. Gon and Kil learn some skills here that they'll use soon and Zepile's characterisation of Gon is very important to note bearing in mind future arcs. It's not the best episode for sure, but it still serves a purpose at least.

I love how much mix of realism and fantasy is in this world. This arc is really one of the best arcs in any story. The shift between main characters is also really nice. And we have so much more of Yorknew!

Gotta say I love these peaceful eps in hxh, like when gon n killua go to whale island. Nothing much happens but there are interesting moments that let us know the characters better cuz they’re not plot driven and are allowed to simply exist and be themselves. It really suits the freewheeling spirit of the show imo.

I forget if it was last week or the week prior, but they had this happen once before where the actual password was 10 numbers off of the intended password. I just assumed it happened again this time. Also it’s a valid mistake seeing as 3 and 4 are right next to each other on keyboards.

I’m glad you guys still seemed to enjoy this episode despite coming off of the insane Kurapika vs. Uvogin fight. Zepile’s characterization of Gon is so accurate here, and it’ll be important to remember that especially going forward with the rest of the series. Don’t worry though, the rest of Yorknew isn’t all Pawn Stars 😂
