They left that show together oin the same episode. (Thor "Chris Hemsworth" also started his career on that show)

There’s a couple of good parallels to the book in the episode, Ward deceiving the Malicks just like the devil did with Adam and Eve being the prime example, but it also fits in with the theme that will be made clear in the last few episodes of the season.
