Halting production on Primal Instinct was not an easy decision. I put a lot into the story and characters. Primal Instinct's lack of support had nothing to do with marketing or not enough people knowing about it. To put things into perspective, across multiple 'sites,' when tallied, PI's views are in the millions, and downloads in the tens of thousands, with only 62 people at the end of the day willing to hold their pledge and not be charged so we could (in my opinion) reach a feasible goal.
That's a no go!
Creating a product is not a hobby. Anyone who has opened up a Patreon page is expecting to be reimbursed for their work. Because this is work. It takes countless hours to research, perfect, and produce.
Any decision I make, be that in the way I decide to offer my services, or story and character decisions, will be met with disapproval by somebody.
I've already been accused of holding my patrons hostage with my new demands.
Being aware of my worth as a content creator seems to rub some people the wrong way.
Going forward I am offering my services based on a commission model. Those are my rates. Which I believe to be more than fair. Full transparency from the very beginning of this new project.
The more interest there is, the harder I work on the project.

That's where I was hoping one of PIs paths was headed :D
