Salazzle sketches

The first picture is all the thumbnails I sketched out real quick. If I don't have a totally solid idea worked out, I'll just start throwing gestures and shapes together and see what starts looking good. Clearly I had some idea of what I wanted, it just took a bit to find the right way forward lol.
For the proper sketches, the red lines here are what I use to refine the thumbnails I chose, and the blue lines are the further refinement of those, they become the basis for the lineart. And, uhh, as you can see, I tend to Fill Things Out a little bit more in the process lol.
