Oh you know, Kumagaya is def smaller than Tachikawa but they are both similar in the sense they are suburbs of Tokyo. I'm sure such things do happen around here, but I haven't seen it yet. -E

2022-05-24 02:24:02 +0000 UTCWhen you were living in Kumaguya, you had encountered a festival (?) in a grocery store parking lot having a free lotto-type game where you'd get a random-colored ball. Each ball color represented a prize of some type of free food/produce. Do your local supermarkets in Tachikawa have anything similar, or was that a "small town" event? Sometimes it's hard to tell which is a suburb of Tokyo and which is a small town adjacent to Tokyo.
