Octacosm 0.5.1

This is the official post for the Octacosm release for the Elektron Octatrack MK1/MK2. The Octacosm is a project package intended to turn your Octatrack into a powerful "guitar-style stomp box" inspired by the Hologram Microcosm and the Mood MK2, both of which are amazing delay/reverb/granular pedals.

Video demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFdayTl5FmU&t=4285s

- This is a dual stereo effect. You can run two stereo instruments using Stereo 1: A/B and Stereo 2: C/D inputs. Be sure that tracks 1-4 are CUED. They will be blinking if they are CUED. To cue a track press CUE + Track.

- The sequencer MUST be running to get granular effects. The TEMPO should be treated as a TIME parameter on a delay pedal, start with very low tempos/time, they have the best sounding granular effects.

In the project's early state, you will find only one pattern and one part with a total of 16 Scenes to play with. This is a very early release, but it's a ton of fun to mess with. Expect me to finish the project with a total of 64 presets and many different sound profiles, including a dirty sound bank, a tape-style repitching bank, and a glitch bank. The first bank you get to mess with is "Crystal," a classic delay/reverb/granular effects spectacle. Enjoy!

Part 1 (Crystal) Scenes 1-16 are currently unnamed but will be named after different crystals. <3

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:

Plug in the USB to your Octatrack -> On your Octatrack press PROJ to enter the Settings -> System -> USB Disk mode ->

Your Octatrack will mount as a disk on your computer. Open your Octatrack drive on your computer and find your set folder (typically called PRESETS MKII if you have a MKII).

Open your set folder on your Octatrack via your computer -> Drop the UNZIPPED project folder called Octacosm x.x in with your other project folders on your Octatrack.

Press NO on your Octatrack to leave disk mode.

Open the project file called Octacosm x.x on your Octatrack.

Happy Holidays,

Yes, there will be a variety of scenes including infinite feedback scenes

Is it possible to create infinte feedback for some scenes in Octacosm like he's doing? I'll use inputs to loop some sounds (ideally) unsynchronized to the sequencer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmQ7AMnooj0&t=295s
