Hello, and Welcome

TL;DR: No gated mods. Just patron-only posts and a patron-only Discord that won't get any exclusive mods.

So the first thing you're probably thinking after arriving at this Patreon link is, "Not more paid mods!" and my response to that is, "No, not more paid mods."

There will never be any paywalling of mods here. There are also no early access rewards. My mod releases will always be free from day 1.

With that out of the way, let me explain what this is and why I did it.

The start of the big c-virus thing made life pretty hard for me, so my modding work fell into a lull, but then I got a job. The job took up a massive amount of my time and left me with almost no free time, so I've basically had no time to mod for a year.

Switch to the present and the job has gone into part-time mode, because the work ran out. It's nothing I did. My company's contractor simply fell on hard times, and the work dried up.

This meant 2 things for me:

1 - I now have a ton of time for myself, and my first thought was to finally get back to all those modding plans.

2 - Once my savings run out, I won't have enough money to pay my bills.

So I arrived at this idea. Start a Patreon and hope some kind folks will help support the completion of my modding goals.

So here are the answers to all the obvious questions:

If you don't get mods, what DO you get as patron rewards?

Tier 1 has access to patron only WIP previews when I have something to show, as well as access to the Halo's Mods Discord, which I created for this. I will also likely show addition WIPs there.

Tier 2 will additionally be able to vote in patron-only polls. It doesn't sound like much, but when I'm trying to choose which mod to focus on next, there will be polls for what people want me to prioritize.

Tier 3 doesn't get much of anything, but you do get access to a special Tier 3 only channel in the Discord, which will include additional mod related previews and opinion seeking. It's really just a token for anyone insane enough to send me 10 bucks a month.

These may not seem like much, and honestly, they aren't. They're small offerings of thanks, but the real goal is simply to ask for consistent support so I can spend the maximum of time possible on completing all the mod plans I announced some 2 years ago.

Goals?

I only have a single goal, and that goal represents the amount of money I will need each month to actually pay my bills in addition to what I get from my part-time job. I won't cap the amount in any way though. After that it just means I'll finally be able to afford to have coffee with friends again.

How long will this last?

Until the final Aether Suite release is released. The Aether Suite has always been my biggest project, and until it's done, I will keep making new mods, even unplanned ones, to keep my modding active and this Patreon worth your time. I estimate between 18 and 24 months.

Game support?

All the mods I release from now on will support both Skyrim LE and Skyrim SE, unless there's some specific reason it can only work for one or the other, like being related to a game specific feature or mod.

How many mods per month?

3 or 4, planned. It will mostly depend on the size of the mods. This doesn't include mini-mods, which will just be random and whenever. This pace relies on my living situation though. If I have to seek additional employment, this number will likely be lower.

Mod requests?

No. Mods take a very long time to make, and for the moment, as you will see below, I have a very full schedule. HOWEVER, once the initial list is cleared and I'm only working on the final AS update, I may indeed start asking patrons what they'd like to see me make.

Where will mod releases be in future?

Here. This is where I'll make my release posts from now on, but they will always be PUBLIC.

Short Term WIPs:

Vignettes Addon - Released today.

UNPCx v1.0 - This is the successor to UNPCMHP with additional shapes, and it'll be the next release.

Secret mod 1 - I won't announce this until I release it, but it's almost done.

Secret mod 2 - I won't announce this until I release it, but it's almost done.

Secret mod 3 - I may release this before the end of the month, or I may not. It need bug testing.

MK Poser update - 2 more modules for MK Poser

All Standing poser - 2 modules of exclusively standing/walking poses.

Long Term WIPs:

Unnamed outfit mod 1 - This one is about half done, but it's not ready for previews.

Unnamed outfit mod 2 - This one is barely past planning.

The penultimate Aether Suite release - This is actually way into development, but it's huge, so it will be a while. I also still have plans past this.

Long Term Plans:

Vignettes Addon 2 - You thought it was over, but I still have even more.

Update some older low poly UNPCM outfits for UNPCx.

The final Aether Suite release to fulfill the last of my plans.

Final Halo's Poser S update.

Final Fuwapose update.

Technically this is a Halo's Poser S update, but I want to add 2 more modules to the male poser.

Action Poser. This has always been in my plans, and it still is. A poser all about poses in motion.

2 more planned outfits which I have basic designs for but I haven't begun meshing yet.

Non-specific Plans:

Mini-mods here and there, since I often have random small things to drop as offshoots of what I'm working on. They're sure to pop up.

So that's it. That's why I made this, and what I mean to accomplish now I have time, and you'll find the very first of many mods already released, in the next post!

Halo.
