Of course having cultural customs is totally fine but I think that women can learn to fight BUT be there mainly for healing which was there customs. But still it’s just a show and in the end they were able to learn what they wanted🙂

Men trying to learn healing would likely be given the same treatment, and, while customs shouldn't be ironclad, there's nothing wrong with having cultural customs. Also, I dislike that she wasn't willing to apologize. She put Aang's training at risk over her pride. Aang should have been the one to stop her from apologizing. Sure, she was "empowered", but she was also being a bad friend.
