2021-06-09 01:24:33 +0000 UTCI’m 100% with Jonathan. I agree with most people when they say serious Gintama is peak Gintama, but far too often it’s done at the expense of the rest of the series. The action is unquestionably some of the best you’ll find in anime, but Gintama’s comedy, character-building, thought-provoking themes, and even romance are all some of the best anime has to offer.
