Gintama really talks about some of the more beautiful and nuanced aspects of humanity, and really shows things from a different perspective. Most people see a pervy old man at the end of his life and see him as a nuisance, but you fail to remember that every person is an individual, and maybe that guy is the way he is cause he just love to see the smile of young girls, or because there was one girl that he loved that he always regretted not talking to.
